❓ Frequently asked questions
Does homeowners insurance cover flood?
Most homeowners policies do not cover flood. Flood insurance is a separate policy, typically with a 30-day waiting period.
What does renters insurance cover?
Your belongings and your personal liability — not the building. Your landlord’s policy does not cover your things.
Term or whole life insurance?
Term covers a set period at lower cost; whole life is permanent and builds cash value but costs more. Choose based on how long your need lasts.
How do I compare quotes?
Use the same coverage, limits and deductibles for each quote, and check your state insurance department for licensing and complaints.
